The decision process to buy or rent your home can be difficult as it is impacted by dynamic known and unknown variables.
Although there is no absolute science to the decision, I find the attached excel sheet can be helpful in providing an analytical tool for consideration.
It calculates the internal rate of return of buying vice renting a home.
